Campaigns

At Gaspar Empowerment Foundation (GEF), we believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background. To advance this vision, GEF launched a community-driven campaign focused on supporting the educational needs of underprivileged children—particularly those from the most marginalized communities.

This campaign encourages students from partner schools to donate used textbooks, notebooks, and old newspapers. The collected materials are then recycled or sold, and the proceeds are utilized to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds with essential school supplies.

Over the past two years, the campaign has grown significantly, with the active participation of 14 reputed schools across Varanasi and Ghazipur. The collective efforts have made a tangible impact:

• 60 children from Musahar communities in Varanasi were supported last year with school uniforms, bags, notebooks, stationery, school fees, and winter clothing.

• 7 community libraries and coaching centers have been established in village areas, providing children with access to reading materials, academic support, and a safe space for learning.

This initiative not only promotes recycling and resource-sharing but also strengthens a sense of solidarity and social responsibility among students. It reflects GEF’s commitment to bridging educational gaps and building a more inclusive learning environment for every child.
