Dry Ration Kit Distribution
Food insecurity remains a critical issue in rural and marginalized communities. In response, GEF launched a sustained humanitarian effort, distributing dry ration kits on a weekly basis across villages in the Harahua Block of Varanasi District.
Each kit was tailored to the needs of the families, helping them meet their basic nutritional requirements. While modest, this ongoing effort represents a meaningful gesture of support for those struggling to put food on the table.
Warm Clothes Distribution
To ease the harsh effects of winter on rural children, GEF also undertook the distribution of warm clothing. This initiative brought much-needed relief to school-going children, helping them stay warm, healthy, and focused on their education, despite the cold weather.
